New England BIPOC Fest

August 17, 2025 - Strawbery Banke Museum Portsmouth, NH

This event bring the community together to encourage discussion and collective engagement regarding equity, social justice and belonging. The fest also provides an opportunity for a broad group of participants to experience food, art, and music that reflect the diverse cultural backgrounds found in New England.


What to expect at the Racial Unity Team table: 

 

  • Building a theme around “Building Bridges and Tearing Down Walls”
  • Celeberating 10 years of the Racial Unity Team serving the community  
  • Engage the kids by building  activity around   “Building Bridges and Tearing Down Walls” . 
  • Displaying flags of  various nations  and having them share their stories
  • Creating a mosaic showing connectedness of different cultures and heritages
