We have an urgent need for individuals to assist with our Art & Poetry display travelling exhibit. This position requires assisting with installing the art an poetry display and take it down at venue locations. The Volunteer Coordinator's responsibilities include responding to inquiries from prospective volunteers, keeping a record of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, and keeping volunteers informed of new opportunities within the organization.

Implement a marketing and communications plan to ensure effective and efficient communication with internal and external audiences. Evaluate and report communication effectiveness.

Volunteer - June 2023
Joined the Racial Unity Team in the January of 2023 as intern while pursuing humanities studies at Great Bay Community College, majoring in Psychology and English. This after a work history of providing stellar patient care in the areas of internal medicine, pain management, phlebotomy, minor surgery.
In her letter of inquiry she wrote, "I would be honored to work with the Racial Unity Team toward dismantling individual and systemic racism in our communities, as this is something I believe in wholeheartedly."
Following the internship period Melissa explored the possibilities of continuing as a volunteer. We are delighted to have Melissa on our team.

Retired Director of Civic & Community Engagement at Pingry School in NJ. will live FT in Dover. Volunteers at NHBHT. Runs social justice group at Temple Israel in Portsmouth is interested in working with students on the Arts in Action project.

Richard reached us through the CONTACT US portal. "He wrote
I’m a psychologist working toward reducing my professional duties and making room to pursue other projects. I’m interested in working with others to reduce the influence of racism in our culture".
Richard wants to reduce his professional hours worked and do hands-on volunteer work. Introductions with members of the project teams were made for Richard to help with Art & Poetry library exhibits, Indigenous Peoples Day, Juneteenth, and Frederick Douglass event.
